I will be keeping the 101 and the Minerva but the 2A has been
sold and the money gone towards the 80" purchase. Here are the
three leafers together before the 88 goes to pastures new.

A respectable fleet. Just a shame you're needing to break it up
       a bit.
The front end of Minervas (the most glaring difference), was a
bit of an eyesore to me once. However, after sitting long and
hard, studying a line of them through a fugue of rum at the
French gig at Bannegon once, I had a 'Eureka!' moment and
decree'd that they are actually things of rare beauty.

I sold the Mighty Antar, Matador and Scammell Explorer because I
wanted a more stress free life. Owning big vehicles is time
       consuming and expensive.
I just wanted to move to smaller vehicles. I never wanted the
2A, it was bought for my wife but she just didn't get on with
it, and it just wasn't rare enough or fun enough for me to want
to keep it. I had a hankering for a Santana Militaire , Tempo
80" or Minerva TT 80". I have only held onto the 2A for so long
because it had a few months of MOT left, I wanted to sell with
full MOT and it was too bloody cold to work in the shed.
The Minerva turned up just as I was preparing the 2A for its
MOT, so I just went for it. It is also pre 1960 and not
required to be MOT tested and that was another reason to buy a
Minerva rather than a Santana. I had great fun with a 1953 80"
in the "Vehicle of inferior length"'s and "Vehicle of inferior
length"'s and had regretted selling it for ages.
I can't ever remember seeing a Tempo 80" for sale. If one comes
       up....who knows.
