550miles in a series 1

Last weekend my brother and I nipped down to Wales from Cumbria
to do a few lanes with some friends. We traveled down last
Friday via Derbyshire for a fryup. (just a little detour), this
was after picking up another two series 1's. We met another
three series 1's down there.
I am pleased to say that we all survived the journey and camping
without a hitch. Of the series 1's three were 200tdi's, one was
a 2.25petrol, one a 300tdi and one was a 2litre petrol. All
different but all very capable.

Looking again it surprised me how many of those trucks still
have there original type rear half shafts...
