The hardtop LW the Red Arrows had looked pretty smart. Just

IIRC it should have left the factory as Bronze Green and then
been sprayed at a depot- Ashchurch etc (probably a different one
being RAF).

Now I'm confused. The first layer of paint is NATO green, then
bronze green over the top of that. :WTF

There's a straight-off-the-line one at Gaydon and I am sure it's
a satin NATO finish, there are some pics on the Land Rover media
site.

The factory build docket for my 1983 (albeit 109) says "Whole
vehicle, including roadwheels, to be finished in IRR NATO" in
the other instructions part.
