Hey
I'm Mex, 18 years old, I currently live in Germany and am
looking for a leafer to transport me and my boat around!
Still haven't got one, though around July I might visit England
to take one with me :)

Guten Tag,
Willkommen auf das Forum.
Before you start thinking importing older Land Rovers into
Germany, you may want to talk to this man : M. Glass (I'll PM
you the details).
It is not easy... :banghead

Yes...
I'd suggest you talk to him anyway - could be very useful.
It is not as easy as a lot of people will have you believe...
A phonecall is easy..
Viel Spass !

Hello, is it just as difficult to get one from another EU
country? Such as Belgium or similar?

"Import" isn't the problem - the Customs side. Very
easy.
"Immatriculation" is the problem - the logbook & MOT side.
The Germans have very strict ideas on what can, and can't, be
accepted when tested. Not just tyre make, size, speedrating, but
also engines, etc. Think colour of lights, mods, rust, welding
to chassis, scratches in windows and what have you. Not to
mention emissions & brakes.. Far more strict than the UK MOT.
It can be done, but it takes a lot of time, effort and
patience.
