You probably did. Apologies for not noticing! Was I in the 88?

Yes, you kind of looked at me, probably wondering who would be
smiling at Series from a Kwagasaggi.

Sooo.... after a good deal of faffing about with brakes on the
J**p and motorcycles and demanding 'relationship issues' AND not
getting near the FFR yet... I have managed to grab a clear night
in the OLLR observatory, after chasing out the spiders I located
a couple of rather dim, grey fuzzy blobs in the constellation of
Ursa Major. M81 & M82 are galaxies about 12 million light years
distant, they appear as very feint grey blobs against a darker
grey background, how Mr. Messier ever came across them is quite
a mythtery... Next time I shall try to capture more light on
       these two...

I also had a pop at M31, the Andromeda Galaxy, a mere 2.5
       million light years distant:

       Fine, fine stuff, Davey.
I've had the fine scope you passed on to me out a good few times
lately, when the nights have been cool enough. But with regular
afternoon/evening temperatures of 35deg+, there has been a lot
of haze-inducing high pressure in that there stratosphere (at
least that's what I think it is).
Dis some great tracking of Saturn to the SSW of us of a night,
       one night.

I'm stuck on ye olde ruste buquette until mid september, and
with the monsoons still raging, I may not get the chance to see
comet Ison, which is soon to be apparent, at least until I get
home again.... I have brought my binoculars though, just in
       case.
