       The OLLR Observatory, here at Castle Yeti has finally started to
       return some results. Once the weather changed from that dreadful
       sou'wester that seems to have been blowing since Chrimbugmas I
       have been getting back into ye olde telescopy once more.
       Here are a few recent images:
       Venus:

       Thankfully the concrete base of the observatory has failed to
       sink into the swamp...

       The first 3 images were captured using the 10" SNT, the Jupiter
       was done with the 90mm Refractor. The SNT, being f/4, is too
       fast for planetary work really, so I tried the f/10 90mm this
       evening and got a really nice Jupiter.
       I use a modified webcam to take avi files and then process with
       registax to get a still frame...

       Hope to be there, but am unsure of my rotation at the moment due
       to the shipyard jobbie.....
       A couple of pics taken this morning;
       Mars, with some focusing issues:

       It looks like the clear spell is broken, hope to get some
       chicken bones thrown at it laterer....
