Oh hi FFR!!!!!!!

Been absolutely bloody ages since I'v been able to see how the
(uber-slow) re-wire has been coming along with my 40 amp FFR but
last Saturday when I headed back to Suffolk for a few days I
popped in and its getting there at last :giddy: front end of
the vehicle is all wired up and sorted and even got the screened
ignition system fitted and working, even able to start it up and
run the engine :smile1 its been so long I actually forgot how
sweet this engine actually is :rolleye0012: welding around the
n/s/r bump stop has been done now so its basically just the rear
of the truck to wire up, along with the NATO trailer electrics
and convoy light, asked them to get it through the MOT as well
as I'm off to Afghan in a weeks time but after hearing the
engine run so sweetly I'm now thinking that if my r&r works out
in time for the Swiss do I may take this over there along with
my sankey :smile1

This is by far my favourite of the Lozza fleet. In fact one of
my favourites full stop. 8)

Well I'm back on r&r now from Afghan and glad to say that my FFR
is now back on the road >rock< been out whiz zing about Suffolk
in it today and have really missed it after 8 years off the
road, only Internet iv got at the mo is on my phone but I will
post some pics up when I can though :smilewide:

Finally got some pics loaded up :smilewide: whilst I was back
in Suffolk seeing family as well as picking up the FFR (ps
thanks Toby for the lift down mate :thumbs:) I had heard of a
small museum down at what use to be RAF Bentwaters, a former
cold war era USAF fighter base, so took a trip down to see but
found it closed but did find a few more things around the base
though for a few pics >rock<

That looks the mutt's danglies. Out of interest, when did FFW
become FFR? Loosely I'd guessed 40amp was FFW and 90amp was FFR
but that's probably an over-simplification on my part. :-?
