       Collecting firewood

       Before I put the hard top on, when it was a truck cab, I had
       even more wood on it and it really was on the stops for the half
       mile drive home.

       This didn't go down too well at our local tip - wouldn't let us
       in because we were in a "commercial"vehicle

       ^^^Jobsworths!
       I had that at the tip in Oldham, some years back. I had a
       hard-top and they wouldn't undo the height barrier to let me;
       they told me business waste needed to go to Newton Heath, whose
       operatives never questioned my private tipper status. I tried
       making a fuss and claiming some fuel money back from Oldham
       Council, but they'd spent all the cash on some wasteful civic
       initiative.

       This is the only instance of overloading I've come across
       recently.
