overloading

Lets have some pics for an overloading thread.....blank out the
number plate and post a pic of our series on the bumpstops! I ve
not overloaded mine yet as i ve not had it long enough........
:thumbs: I have also got those extra rubber helper things under
the spring so would "look" overloaded...... :smilewide:

Think this was the closest to the bumpstops I ever got it (might
be on them, who knows) and I'm sure its a tad over Land-Rovers
quoted max roof loading, though it didn't bend.
When we fitted 12 people (4 in the front, 8 in the back) and
their large rucksacks (basicly taking up all the middle section
next to the spare wheel, though some people managed to lay on
that) in it it definately felt overloaded on the inside through
lack of space, the passengers didn't have a very enjoyable
jurney (though to be fair it was better than carrying the gear
in 40degC heat) but again the landy didn't seem to care.

I've got some crackers of my gayology Discovery all overloaded
with a 2B FC and a whole lot of other chod on the Ifor behind
it. But censorship would be a matter of seconds...so I'll not
bother.

I know it's been posted before but here's a very scary pic of
Dad's landy ! Drives like a big wobbly jelly without the ladders
- can't imagine doing sharp manoeuvres with that lot on top

I once drove my 88 about 10 miles with the bed ,loaded to the
gunnels, full of scrap lead. Interesting to say the least.

Picking up a few slabs for the allotment
interesting around corners but very light steering

At the quarry getting sand.
About 900 kg in the back.
A bit slow uphill but the brakes were fine.
