Hello from North Somerset

Evening all, been lurking round for a while and figured it was
time to sign up! I'm in North Somerset and have owned my 1979
2.6L straight 6 pickup with 3/4 tilt for just over a year, the
wife named it Yolandy the day I brought it home and it seems to
have stuck. It's done us well over the last year, kept us mobile
with all the snow/floods, helped a number of our friends move
house, delivered tub loads of firewood and even carted the
missus and I to and from the registry office in style when we
tied the knot in the summer!

Wooden - I'm a couple of miles outside of Weston super Mud.
And pictures as requested, this is how it was when I bought it,
the old tilt is now being used as a cover for firewood as it was
knackered, I treated myself just before christmas to a shiny new
one.

While replacing all the wheel cylinders, brake lines and flexi
hoses.

6-pot-tastic! Same age as mine too.
I had the dubious pleasure to live in Weston-super-Mare for a
time. Hobbits, Cheers, Shooters etc. Crazy days.

We steer clear of Weston as much as is possible, I'll take the
quite country pub option over a night out in Weston any day of
the week! Definitely getting old! ;-)
