bit of a road trip......

took other half to work in alston via brampton avoiding hartside
pass, then drove to barrow to pick up some doors and
tops.....good times then wwent to pick up other half again but
tried hartside as i was sick of driving..................ah ha
ha ha ah ha ha rofl not a hope in hell, took a back road
bringing you half way up and i could even get onto hartside as i
could nt get round the bend as snow was so deep. Rescued a local
in a 110 though who was stuck tryg to turn round there. I could
get to him without becoming stuck so gave them a lift back to
pick up their other 110 and some shovels.... all in all a good
day and the first long trip in the fire tender, all went well!

Ah, the "all weather" road Alston to Brampton, sometimes the
only way out of alston :thumbs:

Great Pic Perky - and a helluva Antenna on the Tender. What sort
of set-up is that, some sort of super low-frequency job ?

I drove up Hartside yesterday but failed to get to the top.
Not because of the series one's capabilities, but because of a
Jobs Worth on a gritter refusing to get out of the way until I
turned around. :( The kids only wanted to go sledging
:smiley-furious:
