       Camping weekend
By: strang Date: March 20, 2013, 2:17 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I am getting itchy feet for a camping weekend (but I get cold
feet too, so I would like it to be a bit warmer first!). I was
just thinking of booking a pitch at somewhere like The Duke of
       York
  HTML http://thedukeofyorkpomeroy.co.uk/
or The Bull in the Thorn
  HTML http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=6235
       which
are both on the A515 Ashbourne Road in the Peak District.
Nothing special, just book via the pub and turn up, sit and have
a few beers and BBQ, or if the weather is shite, pop in the pub
for a beer. I have done some lanes in the area, but doubt if I
       could find them again!
Sometime in April or May if anyone is interested.......

The Bull in the thorn, isn't that the pub that ran out of
electricity the last time we visited??

If your looking around the Ashbourne area and dont mind a bit of
back to basics camping, I can recomend this site having stayed
       there myself.
  HTML http://www.newhousefarm.co.uk/Camping.html
Id deffinatly be interested in a camp anywhere in that area as
its only about 40 mins from me.

judging by the pics from various other 'do's' - should it not be
       a 'camp' ing weekend :smilewide:
