       salisbury front axles

       how can i tell if an axle is a salisbury one without having to
       take it apart ?
       are there any giveaways or do i need to get the spanners out ?
       over to the masses......................  *help*

       Because it looks like a Salisbury ????
       Removable diff pan (bolts on to enable removal of the diff)
       rather than the diff being removed a whole unit towards the
       middle of the vehicle .
