Retrofied photos

Looking at my only February photos yesterday evening I played
with the colours a bit and tried to re-create the old photo
look. As someone on a Czech forum pointed out, a bit more
grainification would be in order as the photos are too clear,
but I still liked them.

Well I think they look great!
Don't worry about the lack of grain, it's not as if you're
trying to pass them off as genuinely old; you've just tried to
give them a nice 'vintage feel' - and succeeded!

I have been using expired film in my 35mm for a while now. Great
effect!

I know, but I have a good excuse! :D
It's not my trailer, it's from my neighbor, he has some chickens
etc and he has a normal car so can't drive offroad and surely
not with a trailer so I helped him! ;D

Try reducing the colour saturation a little, and adding a bit of
a blue cast. A lot of old colour film seems to look a little
blue after a few decades! It tended to be oversensitive to blue
anyway.
If you ever want to do a convincing sepia shot, you need to
boost the reds as much as possible, and reduce the blues before
converting to sepia. This is because the old Orthochrome film
was very insensitive to red so it would come out nearly clear on
the negatives and hence nearly black on the positives, likewise
it was over sensitive to blue so it was black on the negatives
and white on the positives. Look at old portraits to see how
white some people's eyes look!
