Always up for another go at the gap, or any other "proper"
laneing Dave 8) This time I might even be able to recover
myself, when the inevitable happens!
Thanks Kev

Admittedly Dougal never fails to amaze me, though I would like
to not be shadowed by his greatness at every mud bath, maybe one
day!!

To take a break from the v6 rebuild, I put some effort towards
the rear fuel tank,
yesterday I cut some access panels – here are the cut outs
bellow, they now have supporting frames for the removable
panels, and said panels cut out and fitted - just like on a 109
station wagon.

But wait, why the extra one to the right?.......
Because I just can’t be arsed with the unreliable wavy wire
resistor thing that nobody seems to make a decent one of
anymore, so I’m upgrading to a modern marine fuel sender.

While I was at it, this tank had split near the filler, so I
soldered that up, and then added some braces to try and stop it
happening again.

Once this is on, I can take off the underseat drivers tank, and
put on another 90ltr LPG tank, giving me twin 90ltr LPG tanks
and a 15 gallon petrol reserve.
