Snapped chassis suspension leg

Aaahhhhh the joys of landy ownership, well today I had a lucky
escape, I was driving along and came over a hump back bridge and
as I come off the bridge my o/s wheel rubbed against the wheel
arch which I thought was odd and then a squeaking noise every
time I applied the brakes,so I carried on driving and did a turn
left and the wheel rubbed again and that's when I thought I
better get the new shocks and springs I've been promising
myself,so I pulled into work after driving 20 miles and got out
of Terence and looked at my wheel and thought the axle had moved
forward but when I took a look underneath I soon noticed that
the front suspension dumb iron had sheared clean off from the
chassis :WTF how feckin lucky was I ? .so now Terence is
stranded at work awaiting parts , can anyone recommend somewhere
to by a decent replacement ? Paddock spares ( britpart I think )
or John craddocks any info would be great
P.s I will put a picture up shortly

Nasty! Once you've posted the pic we might be able to offer a
bit more advice, if it's only a crack and the rest of the
dumbiron is good you may be best off getting it back into
position and plating it rather than replacing the whole thing.

trace other chasis leg and rebuild sides etc reuse spring mount
if capable of cutting metal and welding yourself

The welding is not a problem it's the bit that's sheared of
Steve I can put a screwdriver through it , it's paper thin and
no solid metal to grind back

WHS, if you have the spring eye in the right place the bumper
sits at a crappy looking nose down angle, like mine is :(.

Aahhh ok I see now, so the spring eyes on yours Steve are the
original ? And you used new plate to rebuild the sides ? ,what
gauge plate did you use 6-8 mm?
