ANOTHER NEWBIE

Hello to everyone and all !, My name is Ivan and I am addicted
to Ferric oxide , I know that I need help in this matter so that
is why I am here .
I have a pile of series 2 and 3 bits with a 300TDI and a power
steering box off something else , I collected these over the
last couple of years and now starting to get them all together
see photos , I will post more as its a bit further on now I am
out of work again , still I dont have to get up at 06.30 and
take over a hour to drive 12ml and even longer to get home in
the evening

Hi, it started as a rolling chassis , gearbox but no engine , it
had been fitted with 3lt diesel - Perkins ? I dont know , I have
chopped front cross member out and put power steering on .
I really love reading these Landy magazines when they do rebuild
articles , everything is done in a day and cost £50 , then you
get the rest of the crap with blokes spending the GDP of a small
African country on blinging a defender and then saying I did it
all myself .
So tomorrow I may get front axle sprayed - well the casing and a
few other bits .
I am looking for a diff for front not sure about the one I have
looked a bit grim when I took it out , so if anyone knows about
one local I live in Eastwood Notts .

Blimey, Eastwood.... is it still a shithole? I lived on Princess
Street for a few months.... dreadful place, full of loose women
and the like...

i used to live in Hyson Green and that was also full of ladies
of virtue, must be twinned with Eastwood

Twinned with Eastwood eh? Bad teeth, 6 toes, no concept of the
word "safe", and an inherent desire to follow the shoe/gourd,
delete as appropriate.
Cletus Spuckler would be his twin, surely.
