right had a shit day, water pump leaking using a normal gasket.
wanker. sump leaking where i welded it. wanker.
So ive ripped the shite paper gaskets off and used silicone
stuff so il see if it leaks after setting tonight.
Main question is wiring: 2.25 diesel to 200tdi defender.
where is the best place to take the fuel cut off from.
Also the starter wires, the original one has 2 blade pins along
with main 2 threaded ones. I have 2 tick wires from the loam and
one blade. Anyone have an idea of what goes where?
Defender alternator. it has the 3 blade pins and 2 threaded
ones, currently its wired with one threaded pin wired to the top
main starter pin. can i just use the blade pins as they make
       more sense to me.
       Thanks

Fuel cut off wants a feed from the ignition, that is live when
on position 2 and start, assuming pos 1 is accessory
Starter, thick from battery to screw terminal, then thin air
with blade, spade, lucar, whatever you want to call it to he
solenoid on he side of the starter, (small cylindrical thing).
Alternator, can't remember but plenty of Google hits saying
which terminal is which, though you can't just use the blade
connectors. The feed from alternator to starter is the charging
circuit and can have upwards of 60 amps flowing through it. This
needs to be a nice chunky bit of cable.
