hello everyone!

Just thought I would say hello as I am new on here. My 1961
series2 swb has been off the road for ages. I am in the middle
of replacing the door pillars and footwells at the moment. Im
also half way through a 2.8 Daihatsu conversion. I have been
having a good look round the forum looking for inspiration or
maybe just motivation. Will try to get some photos on when I get
my finger out. :thumbs:

Not sure you'll get that but you will get a laugh and some

thanks. 2.8 daihatsu because its a good engine and it was cheap.
Not very popular on here though!

Nothing wrong with the LR original engines.... I have a large
number of them (mostly fucked by other owners though!) awaiting
rebuilds/stripping for parts to feed others.

The original 2.25 petrol was a good engine but i couldnt cope
with 12mpg. The daihatsu came along at the right time and the
right money with the conversion bits bolted on.
