Hello all,
I used to be a frequent visitor (but not too great a poster) on
the old forum, but for many reasons have not been about much of
late. I currently drive a 1974 series 3 which we have used to go
on holiday camping in Devon and the Dorset Steam fair as well as
mainly being used to carry bits of buses about that I help
restore.
I also own a 1980 series 3 which was my first Landrover but
which has been off the road for over 2 years as the chassis is
beyond having much more welding done and the bulkhead is in a
sorry state. After getting one of our Bristol VR's back on the
road I have just got the enthusiasm back to start taking the
blue series 3 apart which is now undercover in the mother in
laws garage.
When that is back on the road the green one will have to go,
although the chap I bought it from wants first refusal.
Sorry for the Freelander in the pic - its not mine and I'm not
into cropping pictures!

Yes Dave - I have a 1973 Bristol VR. Haven't been up your way
with it yet, but have taken it to a few preserved railways in
the Midlands and South of the Country that have bus rallies.
s.o.t.d - that was a few years ago now!
