Heavy shackles- good place to get them? Also after parabolics

All in the title!- need a pair of heavy duty shackles and
parabolics (I am in Devon)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

GB springs seam to be the parabolic springs of choice Had a set
on a previous motor and they were great. My IIA runs chris
perfect 2 leafs front and rear very very good springs great off
road but dont think they are available anymore

I've currently got some TI Console (Heystee) 2 leaf fronts and 4
leaf rears on the 88 I took off a 109, they are really good. The
previous Britpart 2 leaf fronts and 3 leaf rears were utter
shite, I bought them new and after about 10 minutes they'd
sagged. I've heard good things about GB springs but no
experience. It's a shame about Chris Perfect, he retired a few
years back but to my knowledge was the only person to supply 3
leaf fronts and 5 leaf rears suitable for heavy vehicles like
ambulances.
As for shackles, same as springs, avoid Britpart excrement like
the plague would be my advice.

For parabollox, use GB. They are great springs, have excellent
customer service and are keenly priced. As for big shackles,
find a friendly crane / digger / excavator driver. They normally
have plenty ;-)

Haha, thanks for info everyone! I was meaning spring shackles
not d shackles and apparently best lift is the heavy duty one
ton shackles- pretty rare buggers by the looks of it!! I have
two but need another pair....... Springs will be ordered next
week after your recommendations!- thanks

I have one (if I can find it !). I also have the makings of a
second but I can't quite remember how far I got with it before
getting thoroughly pissed off. You can have em for the cost of
postage if they are any good to you-or you arrange relay from
j59 A1(m). Shackles that is!

You can still get the one ton shackles you have to buy them in
there individual parts.We keep them in stock at work :smile1
