It's not often series stuff comes up for sale within a day's
drive of me so when a 2.25 petrol engine appeared on gumtree in
my own town for 40 notes I snapped it up. I have two petrol
series projects with untested engines so it might yield some
useful parts.
It's the first time I've manhandled a series lump - they're
heavy

Loaded with an engine crane but had to get it out and in the
garage myself at my end. Now sitting on a wee trolley I made
awaiting a clean up.
Sore back now.

I currently have a 19j residing in the back of my Ibiza. Picked
from 30miles away loaded with a hoist which I don't have. Not
relishing removing it. I like my back as it is!

I have 9 of these in various states.... moving them to get to a
cupboard means I should REALLY tidy up my garage, especially as
I have a further 5 to fit in very soon!

Moving anything heavy about my shed is an utter pain as the
floor comprises large and uneven cobbles. On the positive side
that does help with purchase when using a long pry-bar to lever
stuff about. Getting a concrete floor is high on my list of "To
Do".
