PoM January 2012 - Submissions

I volunteered to help out with the Photography section and as a
result I had now been bestowed upon with powers of a forum
demidemidemi-god. Hence the new sticky thread with PoM rules and
past winners' list. I will try to do this early each month, with
the final cut on or around the 15th and the voting running for
the rest of the month, I suppose.
Now then, we haven't finished the PoM January 2012,
harryhedgehog had a very nice picture in the original thread
back at the old forum, but I hope that wasn't all of your best
December photos, so fire at will - give me your best shot 8)

Copied from the old forum: two of mine from December for
consideration (this has now an added twist to it...):
1. Jekyll during the weekend of V8 burbley bliss, which ended up
with another period of immobility due to a blown radiator and a
broken throttle linkage:

I like those. But I'll be an armchair critic and say the framing
of Jekyll would work a lot better if there was more space in
front of the vehicle for it to "drive into", as in the 2nd
photo. (I'd also have cheated and Photoshopped out the white
buildings in the distance.)
