       Blimey!
As said above get it back sharpish and get a tape measure on
       that chassis.
       I think that's more than doable unless it's banana'd.
As for gimp in the other motor. Extract finger and play holy
       war!

You a lucky bloke to walk away from that.
When George had his mishap we made sure the insurance company
took it Simons house and not to a recovery yard as its quite
hard to get it back from them with everything still in tact and
       note nicked from it.

Explore the salvage option but first see what they'll offer as a
straight cash settlement. I rebuilt mine from salvage but about
1/2 way through realised I'd have been out and about driving in
       a decent motor months earlier if I hadn't !
Take your photos down to the Station and ask to speak to
some-one high up in Traffic if they don't plan on prosecuting.
The clown of a truck driver who ran me off the road a few years
back was let off because he was injured in the accident....he
went on to drive into the back of a stationery car on the A9 and
damn near killed some woman a year later. Even then he nearly
got away with it because he reported the incident to a different
Depot than the one he worked out of....

Glad you're o.k. Get the motor home as soon as you can, you're
       perfectly entitled to.
       Don't trust any bugger!

Mate I know how these things can affect you as I have spun and
tipped a van over in the past but........your still here to tell
the tale. Gutted for you about the Landy and slighty perplexed
regarding the Hyundai driver but its in the hands of the
insurers now. Count your lucky stars knowing your still able to
       drive a Landy again......... ;-)

Edit: Yep, just checked: The Old Bill are not obliged to attend
any RTA/RTC unless there is an injury or the possibility of a
public order offence. You were lucky a Rozzer bothered to show
       up at all..!
       [/quote]
Phone for an ambulance rather than the police, the rozzas have
       to turn up then

Lucky to be alive, not lucky to be hit by the twat! Don't let
up on the Police, he should be prosecuted. Sorry your LR is
       done in, gutting.

You were very lucky to get out of that in one piece. As
everyone else says make sure the police get the other driver for
at least driving without due care..Best of luck with the
insurance and getting it back on the road.
