       defender tdi in a 109

       Looking at engines disco and defender 200tdi for my 109 and
       reading various things will a defender one fit due to engine
       mount issues? im aware a disco will fit by spacing the mounts up
       a bit to clear the chassis rail or fitting 300 manifold/turbo
       but id rather fit a defender one if i can.

       Just fitting a Defender 200 Tdi to Ralph my swb now, only gotta
       change the drivers side mount and extend the down pipe to go
       underneath a crossmember and its in, bolts straight up with the
       gearbox too, no drilling or tapping bolts like on some disco
       engines, probably the easiest Tdi to fit I think

       on a disco one you just bolt on series engine mounts to the
       block, so is that the same on the defender. Disco has two sets
       of holes and you use the front ones. Is that the same since its
       the same block?

       pump on defender engine hits engine mount you need the defender
       mount and the alter cassis mount to take it
