documentary. I'm really just hoping to hear some examples so I
can mention a line or two to Land Rover, giving them a sense of
the diversity of Land Rover owners out there!

I beiieve Log Rover would be an excellent candidate. Could well

Call me a miserable cunt, but the words barge and pole come to
mind. During the filming of my youngest Stepson in Young
Soldiers, I endured months of intrusion, and my life wasn't my
own. I retrieved my contract and wrote myself out of it. They
scrapped a lot of footage and had to reshoot. I was glas to get
my sanity back when it was all over. I recommend caution....
Don't trust a word they say or write down, and expect any
expenses to be forgotten about. A more parsimonious set of rich
fuckers I never have seen.

Par for the course with film work. We only work through an
action vehicle company, the film/tv production companies
themselves are renowned for being bad payers. If in doubt insist
on the cash up front, once they have the crew ready to roll they
won't risk you backing out. The moment they're gone you're
fucked. I would exclude the BBC from this, if you work for them
directly they're fine. One important thing - if you get a chit
for an appearance fee make sure you write *** PAY DIRECT *** on
it in large letters, otherwise you tend to find the appearance
fee goes to the company you're working for and not you directly.

The one big bonus when they did filming work here was that they
left 5 200Lt drums of Red behind, 4 of them full. Must have
been from the gennies.

i am still owed £200 from a well known tv company from ten years
ago for a vehicle i supplied. i gave up in the end never again
conning bastards.........
