I nearly bough one a few years ago for £1650,wished I had as the
last one I was looking at would cost me £3000.One of them or a
Humber one ton truck which they were based on would look really
       good next to the Champ.

I'll take my chances with the zombies, you'll be battered to
fuck with no fingers left after spending time with a humber pig.

Nearly bought a soft skin fv1601 about 30 years ago for the
       princely sum of £150
Lack of suitable storage made me abandon my plans.
Lovely design, far better executed than its little brother the
       Champ IMHO.
The truck had been the wrecker for Castlecroft Garage,
       Wolverhampton.
Never tracked it down since, hopefully someone has given it a
       good home.

I had a FV1601 but I have gradually robbed it of bits & little
remains of it now. I first bought it to get the flywheel to fit
into the FV1620 I used to have.
Do you know the registration civil or military of your old one?
I have quite a lot of photos & records of Humbers. Or failing
that what was the colour/ livery?
Judging by the Ruddington catalogues I have, dealers seemed to
buy them for £80 on average & sell them on for £250
