well i went for a direct from battery feed to the fusebox.
all done now, total time approx 5hrs of my time £24 for the
halogen lights, £35 of consumables inc fusebox and 2 relays) -
total for repair and conversion £59.
a massive improvement in light to anybody still running sealed
beams this is a worthwhile conversion, wish i did it two years
ago.

well I maybe getting a little paranoid, but i keep thinking
somebody is going to steal my landrover in the night, so ive
decided to create a driveway in my back garden not the easiest
task and i dont think Its suitable for my car, if nothing else
it makes it very difficult to steal where it is :thumbs:

its a council owned lane and they wont give permission as its a
fire risk or some crap like that.... :wanker:
well the old girl performed very well yet again. think my
gearbox is on the verge of dying though, spare is ready and
waiting with a new clutch.

do you think this exceeds the maximum 2 ton towing capacity of a
leafer? :rolleye0012:
certainly felt like it, poor 2.25 diesel done it though. got up
to 45 mph at one point :smilewide:
this ole Daimler is past its best - when i get time its going
to be dismantled and boxed for spares, i had it running though
sounds good with no exhaust.
