seatbelt fastening with a full tilt

In the summer I want to take the roof off for days out but need
to get the seat belts sorted. I have two rings on the bulkhead
but not sure what they are for. Any pics of fastening inertia
belts would be appreciated or do I need roof off belts?

I've just gone the Exmoor Trim route for inertia belts in a
soft-top, raised bar across the tub bulkhead etc. Not cheap but
good kit. Had to engineer it a bit to fit a lightweight as its
made for the wider std vehicles.

I wonder if those ex mil ones fit lghtweights? Anybody know of
one being fitted or fitted one to there's?

Certainly easier with underseat tanks.
If you can fit standard hoop sticks to a lightweight then they
should fit shouldn't they? It would help if the mid
bulkhead/seatboxes are the same shape as a standard lr too, to
help fit the brackets.

so do I take it that lap belts were the only way to secure the
belts? I had not planned on installing a roll bar though it does
make sense for gren laning maybe.

i've just gone from tilt to truck cab and have a seatbelt bar
which bolts to the tub capping where it meets the bulkhead and
further back on the inside of the tub. it provides two top seat
belt mountings just above shoulder height and allows the use of
three point inertias. The reel bolds to the top of the bulkhead.
It does need a few holes drilling in the tub/bulkhead and it's
fiddly to fit, but it works fine. I had planned to put it into
storage until warmer weather and sell it on then, when the tilts
come out again. Not the best picture but I can post more if
anyones interested. Just to stress though, it's NOT a roll bar,
but my MOT Guy was happy with it.

If you have a 109 or 88 with under seat tank then the milly roll
bar @ £170 is one way but I just relocated the belt bracket from
the corner bracket on the hard top to the top of the bulk head.
Worked for the interia reel on the drivers side and fixed belt
passenger side. I'll see if I have a picture.

You would have thought so Nugget however me is thinking that
there is not as much flexibility in those military seatbelt
bracket things as there is in a normal hoop.

Easy enough to sort out with a ratchet strap though surely???
