Well D.B. are after about 60 new drivers, It is believed that
not all will be filled "internally" so there could be
opportunities to recruit off of the street. That Means YOU.

Nee good to me. BMI? my doc says i am a fat cunt but like i told
her i can speak english. GCSE? What the fuck you never got them
in the detention centre. Plus someone said there is a dead man
switch do you press it at level crossings.

The former GNER (now East Coast) advertised for trainee drivers
about 12 years ago, and I applied. At the first 'mass' interview
in Doncaster, I was asked if I wanted to work out of Leeds or
London. I said I wasn't bothered, as I really didn't ever expect
to be taken on, however, after a long series of tests and
interviews, I was selected as a trainee driver, but based out of
London - so guess what, I turned the job down, and have
regretted it ever since! :banghead

BMI off the chart.I can sit there staring out at a motorway no
problems so a track I possibly could do.I was diagnosed with
sleep apnea last year but after making them do more tests.I
proved it has no effect on me.Dont think they would have me
though.I got a job at Stagecoach and lasted 5 days I couldnt sit
in the classroom all day or cram the route learning in I was
climbing the walls.

I've got a couple of mates that do it - I don't think I could.
Nor drive a coach or wagon for long distances on motorways day
in day out. I think I'd nod off. Bus route, fine. There's always
plenty going on to keep me awake.

Well I was considered too fat and too stupid, and I didn't think
I would pass the strict alcohol tests... I was thinking about
having a hip flask on me, just in case though....

I,m the opposite.I,ve tried bus work and by the end of the
first day I,ve wanted to suck on my exhaust pipe.But I can quite
happily sit on a motorway for hours no problems.
