Very surprised by todays posts. In times gone by there would
have been tales of derring do in the days weather. Heroic
stories of leafers conquering the elements. What has there been
on the forum tonight? Have I got the correct rear lights and
what colour seat covers shall I have next. Bah humbug. Get out
in the snow tomorrow or else!!!!

While not exactly heroic, I did end up doing a run through the
snow last night to get a friends puppy to the vets. Main thing I
noticed was the vast number of inferior vehicles either stuck,
resting on their sides or parked in the ditches.
There also seems to have been a :gay: multiplication in boingys
they were every where round here last night. Best bit of the day
was going straight up one of the more snow covered hills after a
slitty 4x4 tried and failed.

I only saw two Series vehicles apart from mine out yesterday,
one of which lives up my road and let the side down badly by
trying to drift across the A329 while trying to turn right
opposite a bus stop. The resulting spin made a fair few people
point and laugh, and hopefully the driver has learned that he
can't drive an 88 like his other car, a 4WD from Toledo.
It's only 5 inches of snow FFS! Why do the sort of cars that sit
5 feet off your bumper in the driving rain at 70 mph insist on
going no faster than 15 when it snows? Oh the irony...

Usual shite in the media, 4x4 drivers come to aid the country, I
wont help the wankers who cant drive in snow, the same ones that
cut me up in traffic, complain about noise in the countryside,
they can fuck off, like they want me to do the rest of the year

Went out in our SII to take the dogs out. We on ly needed 4x4
twice both times because we couldn't maintain momentum on hills.
The first one had a vicious speed bump just before it and the
second because we stopped parked up and took the dogs out.
We had to drive round some idiot drivers wheel spinning but we
never stopped. for 360 days of the year I am the cause of all
that is evil in the world because I drive a Landrover but when
the snow comes , or a bit of adverse weather people want me to
help them!
FUCK OFF.

Some inferior 4x4 owners were commenting on how impassable a
local road called "the fairmile" was last night in the pub, I of
course
told them that they were gay and talked myself into having to
drive this road this afternoon to prove my half pissed claims of
series superiority
;D
