Brenda the "Ambumlance"

Bought an Ambi, 3 weeks before Cezch and decided to replace the
engine, box and repaint, and generaly convert over to a
camper... All went well till more recently when some twat hit me
up the bum!!
Anyway here are some pictures of the old girl, Ill post up some
more before pictures when I can find them!

Yeah, we were all a little bit battered and bruised, but need to
thank many members of the forum including Lozza,
Landyboy,West4x4 amoungst a few. When she came back to mine, we
put a bit of oil in the engine and water in the rad and she
fired up and drove off the trailer into her slot, since then she
has moved to a neighbours and back!! Pretty impressed although
since the accident the gearbox has been struggling to get into
gear...

Thats a bugger! Best way forward is re-bodying, no? Get a
whole new ambi from pablanchards, and swap over! or do you
intend to repair?

it wasn't a rear end shunt he caught us on the rear corner as we
were turning into a road and he was going quite fast.
prob end up putting a different body on as really have not got
the facilities to for such a big body swap.

Ah, this has made me sad again.
Not at all possible to swap off a body from another ambi like
the old knackers Blanchards are punting on?

Bloody hell. Glad you're ok, disappointed the cunt in the van
didn't bleed to death slowly and painfully for doing that to the
poor old ambulance. ^^^ makes a lot of sense, Blanchards are
offering to take the body off their sales ambulances for £100 so
they must have some kicking about. The other thing worth
considering is buying a complete one

profit on that. If you can blag the use of a forklift, JCB or
summat it wouldn't be too traumatic to left the body off in one
lump and transfer it.
