Nowthen, my name's Pete and I've been told this is a bloody good
forum by a couple of mates who are on here, so I decided to
join.
I'm a stooodent doing Off Road Vehicle Design at Harper Adams,
and I own a couple of "proper" Landies. But one of them won't be
considered "proper" here due to it being a 90" boingy, so I
won't mention owt more (coincidently, I have a '59 Ford named
'Zebedee', and I will not be shoving coil springs up the back of
it!).
The other one is a 1970 88" Hard Top Petrol, named 'Womble' for
obvious reasons... Heres a sh*t photo, the latest one I have
that looks to have been taken on a '80s Casio:

That was just after being driven 40 mile to my parents place
having been MoT'd, taxed and insured all on the same day. I
bought it late last year as small project vehicle just to tidy
up and get back on the road, and generally piss around with. Now
it's sat in a dark and cold shed (not the nice garage in the pic
behind ???) half way through being sanded down for a repaint
(roller job unfortunately as I'm a Yorkshireman with tight
pockets), until I had to f*ck off back home in Shropshire to do
some more uni. Hopefully it'll soon be outshopped all nice and
tidy so I can get some proper photos on a real camera.
Question, how common is it to have a full headlining set (side
panels and all) in a hard top van? Would this be County spec?

The only time I've seen full headling on van sides is on the
Searle conversions, does it have a bulkhead behind the seats or
has it been removed?

Looks like it has a posh fresh air heater fitted too. Look at
passenger wing front. I thought this vents were only for
American spec Kodiac heaters. (Or might just be a bad photo)

Cheers for the welcome. To answer the two questions, it does
have a bulkhead still. It's got rear bench seats too, but I
think they're a recent addition. And yes, that's a heater intake
on the N/S wing. I did wonder if it was an American spec heater,
but it looks a bit homemade to me. Unfortunately it isn't
connected up, the fan still works but there's more hot air
coming out the back of my computer than there is from that. I
shall get some pics of that when I get chance to.

Chances are its a Stationwagon Spec van. I know of a few,
trimmed out, but without rear windows to avoid purchase tax.
My SWB Stationwagon would have been more expensive new than a
LWB stationwagon when new, so folk opted for an 88" basic, paid
the bit extra for trimmings and cut windows in later if they
could be bothered. If its ever had evidence of folding rear
seats or even bench seats fitted to the back this could be
another clue.
AFAIK Interior trimmings were an optional extra. Any pictures of
the material. someone may have pilfered a Stationwagon
headlining and retrimmed it in the last 40 years.
Any pictures of the inner doorpillar, under the dash above the
footwells? if there are a series of small screws, or better
screws fitted with some aluminum retaining strips, think there
is also one under the dash, it would have had Bulkhead trim.
If the doors are original, are they trimmed/ do they have holes
for trim clips in the frame?
