still working on her

been a while since last post but still working on her. now with
new o/s out riggers and fuel tank, put large plate in bulkhead
now peddle box aint spongy. shes a runner again, ye hay. had a
cow of a time when i sheared bolts in manifold to down pipe had
nuts cherry as well, had to drill out bolts in sittue, as no way
am i to remove manifold cause the bolts for this look worse.
fitted s/s back box, second hand, true yorkshireman. made new
front bumper for the hell of it. repaired short to wipers.
next radiator to fit, second hand bought at latp. then to sort
starter motor problem as right arm is getting too strong using
starting handle. oh and floor to replace in rear as it is some
what fffffragile,
why is it the more i do the more she wants!

Tis true, but is there ever a time a landy wants nothing? i only
have sympathey for those who try to keep more than one on the
road.

had her out on road on saturday, she not like it. short drive
and after stop to check over and to see why indicators not
working. total refuse to move all brakes on. cracked open brake
pipe to get the thing back. lost status of she. spent monday
replacing brake master cylinder. great fun !!. £38 how much. +
new resovoir to cylinder pipe. now t sort starter motor.
starting handles are great but not long term on cold days
