Plan for today is to actually get over to Traceys ....as one of
the devils springs on her French can went pop last night (i can
only imagine that its how springs reproduce )
So on my way with the hoi poloi on pubic transport to collect
the works bus ....then repair the gay turbo 'ose on Molly then
some weldification to zebs none existant battery tray etc .

Not a problem. There shouldn't be too much wiring on there
       should there?

Well there is a bit less now .... ;D
Front end was a mess from a plethora of previous owners bad
       earth bodges etc ...

As is typical in the process of untangling that mess i
discovered that the battery bracket was made out of finest lace
       curtain ....
A short time later and some electric glue gun action it was
       sorted ...

And wiring pruned back to original wiring loom and waterproof
junction box fitted and a length of trailer wire routed to
drivers side and passenger side through stuffing glands to
       prevent chaffage ....ooooeeerrrr !!!!

I love previous owners wirings I do! All three motors now seem
to have had copious amounts of wiring removed. When I went to
fit the new locker lids to the 109, I realised why the PO had
just plated them over. I think he had the strategic reserve of
black scotchlock connectors and black wire to use up!
Here's looking forward to re-wiring Daisy!
Oh and you said glands yak yak yak.

O.K.....as a relative newcomer to OLLR, let's see if I've got
this straight.......coil springs are gay......wide axles are
gay......and non-Land-Rover engines are gay. Unless of course,
you happen to be a moderator. Have I got this right? :handbag
