Little bit more done over the last few days:
Front now attached to the the back:

Dumb irons cut from bent front of chassis 2
  HTML http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/282948_10151387506096798_2032552386_n.jpg
Seams split, beaten straight and ready for fitting. (Could have
ordered new, but didn't fancy the bill.....)

Old dumb iron cut off. Both have been overplated with 5mm plate.
Was an absolute shit to cut away.

       Newer one welded in:

Other dumb iron to cut off and replace. Then flip the chassis
and weld new metal in. I reckon that I have another 10-15 hours
to do before it goes for blasting. There will be 50 hours + in
the chassis alone. Bulkhead needs 10+ hours to complete too....

Not galvanising, that is so 'the only way is Retford'! Besides
which, if I need to adapt the chassis in the future, galv makes
it a right pain in the arse. The chassis will get several coats
of red oxide and then two top coats of DBG, likewise the
bulkhead. The cavities will all then get a liberal coating of
       waxoyl.
