       BBC4 that purveyor of finest retro filth is once again tonight
       peppering the schedule with a couple of decent progs tonight -

       Last nights docu on the post war british military jet production
       was  very good. I'm surprised it was on before the watershed
       :eek:
       I suspect it was originally run in August. Only downside was
       that crazy old "cyclist" Norman Tebbit featuring on it  :-\
       Enjoy and if Vinny is watching make a bog roll runway for the
       planes to land on   :smilewide:

       I mightily enjoyed the prog. despite Tebbit's participation. I
       felt some stirring (rare these days) in the gentleman department
       at the sight of the Meteor in flight. I have a photo of me as a
       small boy, helmeted, in the cockpit of a Meteor taken at Biggin
       Hill in the early 50s.
