That Harewood pic (one of the Nationals?) is superb!
There are from 70's events in the Lakes:

Great idea - not exactly vintage, but here's a couple of Jekyll
in mid-1990's and of Bernie in 1960's:
Jekyll, somewhere around Powys, Wales, about 1995:

Bernie, Switzerland, 1961, still with it's original tilt and
front left wing (with the just barely visible convoy light plug
just above the indicator/position lights):

Looks well different with the rag top Jan! 8) Do you know if it
had a V8 then?

Yep, already had it, but not for long I suppose - I have some
kind of a dealer's certificate on the transplant quality from
just before this owner purchased it. Except the fact that it did
not consider speeds above 90 kph advisable :D
By the way I quite like the hard-top for the practicality, but
probably won't be able to justify that considering the cost of
one and my liking of the truck cab it has now - plans for a 3/4
tilt are still on, though, but plans don't cost anything... ::)
Priority now is to put it back on the road asap :)

Love the guy emerging from a muddy pond in a Forest Rover, with
a jacket and tie on :D

Me too Mark! I wrote a letter to the local paper where it used
to live in Kewstoke (Bristol), it went in last week - had a few
bits of info back but alas, no pics yet...
On a trialling theme I found this at work.

Cant say I'd fancy driving something with such an exceedingly
dodgy centre of gravity!
