26103126G - 2A 109 SW

Bought this today,

It's on a Q, but I know the original reg and Chassis number. Not
sure why it is on a Q. It has Yorkshire Ouse and Hull River
Authority written on the side which is quite nice, as I'm from
East Yorkshire.
It also has this, which I have no idea about? Anyone know?

I saw that on Gumtree and almost went to see it! What was the
chassis like?

I would guess a clutch or overdrive operated by a solenoid or
cable?

Thats a flux capacitor ;D
Very nice indeed, what engine is in it?
Looks a lot like a series 2a wearing a series 3 Grill to me.

Flux capacitor indeed, if only a LR would get to 88 (on the flat
;) )
The chassis is pretty good actually, the bad bits are that it
hasn't started for about 7 years and the door pillars and inner
doors are rotten and sadly the front seats and middle seats are
gone. Replaced with some seats from something that aren't even
bolted in.
Its got a 2 1/4 in. I do like 6's but its a lot of work.
Going to phone VOSA to try and find out why its on a Q and join
the S2C, so they can help identify it too.

Nice! Starting to hanker after a big station wagon. Quite like
the truck style mirrors
