       My recent purchase,
not much to do , perhaps more chequer plate?

Not really sure what to do with it, originaly bought for bits,
but chassis and bulkhead suprisingly solid, so my have to do
something with it? although suspect by the time i've removed all
the 90 bits and chequer plate, it won't look so promising!

Apart from the obvious, what else is wrong with it?

Wheel, door and bonnet crimes apart, itlooks an honest motor and
will probably surprise you once these deviances have been
corrected...as they should be if your manly collection is to
       retain fully functioning testicles.
Fail to make the required changes and you could find the 'k' in
your name replaced by a 'd'.

There aren't that many about where you can say the big important
bits are solid, if chassis and bulkhead is sound I would be
pulling off the tat and see what I could get for it all on ebay?
You may find once you sell the offending items it goes a long
way towards the correct bits, I would keep and sort it out or
sell complete but its yours so up to you.

Thanks for your suggestions chaps, it does really seem a shame
to break it, it even runs.
Hard top is destined for my 2a, (main reason I bought it, as the
safari tops seem to hold a premium) but am thinking of putting a
truck cab on it, changing doors and bonnet, and getting it
through an mot. 8 spokes may have to stay for a while, depending
on funds, as tyres are pretty good.
It really depends on how many other problems I find when I get
amongst it, am half way through a major rebuild on my 2a so
don't really have time for a big project.
       Cheers
       Mike

Always a dilemma I would have a hoard of series if I could.
(more if the wife would let me)
But really doesn't look that bad other than the obvious. ;D
