2.5 petrol fuel system

Im fitting a 2.5 petrol from a 90 and i am after information on
the pipes and the pot fitted to the dash board if any one has
fitted one and what they used it would be a great help.

I put the 'thimble' on my bulkhead. See my 2.5 installtion in
thsi thread.

The pic in this brake thread shwows it with a SU, but if like
me you started with the std Weber and yours is still on theere,
you need a 12V feed to the carb or the cut-off solenoid stops it
from idling smoothly. I can't rember how I plumbed the fuel
feeds If I get a mo' I'll post pics later. I've only just put up
a post about doing a BLOS on a 2.5,, and there's pics of this
via NoelC showing his. I should thtink if you look, his pics
may help you. OK, it about a BLOS, but hey-ho you wnat pics.
BTW S3 water temp. sender fits the 2.5.

Mine has the pot on the bulkhead.
I have the standard Weber, you do ned to run a wire to a
solenoid on the carb for the shut off valve. Just connect it to
the low tension wire betwen the ignition switch and coil.
There's a fuel return pipe on the carb, which you don't need,
mine is just blanked off.
If you want pics, I'll go and take some, then try to work out
how fuckbucket works.

that would be help full as i will be starting to reasemble
things in the next couple of weeks :thumbs:
