Hmm :-? Depends on when you are arriving, because if you are
stopping over for a night at the Eifel Camp on Thursday evening
and planning to arrive Friday evening to CZ, I will already be
over at Kutna Hora (I need to do one last round of the
greenlaning route during Friday), so in that case I wouldn't be
able to help with the stopover. If you are planning to arrive on
Thursday evening, no problem to kip for the night at our place -
and that's valid for any of the participants coming from your
direction.
For those who do not know, the place where I live is half-way
between Pilsen and Prague, so stopping over will spare you some
120 kilometres of driving and you can join us on Friday morning
for the final leg to Kutna Hora.

No problem, Jan. We can go straight to Santa Barbara on Friday
if that is better for you.

It's not because of the Dougal's signature on the drive, Mike, I
value that oily splatter as a memory of the dream yard filled
with leafers ;D
It's a pity you can't make it earlier as I could spare you the
effort of towing the trailer up to Kutna Hora - I mean unless
your spare engine and gearbox will be residing in it just in
case Dougalspeed is too much for Dougal this time :smile1

Mike eifelcamp is just a 2.5 hours drive from holland and really
out of route to the czech republic.
Remember last year it took us a day to get to drozdov arriving
around 10 at night.
I plan to just go and when we get tired set a location on the
nearest campsite on the satnav.
So drive till around 5 o clock so we won;t arrive so late on
friday and drink cheap beers:p
If the trailer is slowing you down Doom will be glad to Doomify
it and drag it over the Mountains ;D

my satnav tells where the nearest campsite is so planning a
campsite isnt needed.
drove this way to the ltds event in france and just stopped at
the nearest site when mathieu and i where getting tired of
driving.
On the way back from le temps de series i did 1000km in one go
within 9 hours  :smilewide:
Don't ask for my average speed as my brother is probably reading
this also ;-)

He also pulled a Durex over his head and blew it up until it
exploded, in the bar on the Saturday night. Would you trust this
person's judgement? :haha:

Xander and I have just had a chat, the plan now, is to get as
far as we can on Thursday. Hopefully, this will give us time to
drop the 'Landyvan' off at Drozdov on Friday and travel with Jan
to Kutna Hora. Does this make sense to you Jan, and does Hana
know about the trailer, or are you going to be living in it for
the foreseeable future? :haha:

No problem to drop the Landyvan off at Drozdov as long as you
arrive in time ;) So, if I understand it correctly, you drive
until you drop on Thursday, wake up and drive some more. But
this still wouldn't give you a nights' sleep without missing us
at Drozdov - or...? You would have to wake up very early and
stay relatively close to the Czech border We plan to leave
Drozdov at about 8:00-9:00 AM on Friday morning, so that I can
drive the route once more to check for any obstructions or any
conditions that could prevent us from driving the lanes I
picked.
So, as long as you arrive before that time (or just slightly
after that), you can join us for the Drozdov-Kutna Hora part of
the journey. Sorry for making it a bit more complicated for you,
but organizing this event does not give me too much freedom
:haha:
