But they are no good for a bloke with a big gut. And since the
88 is half mine, and hippy wants me to pay half towards the
upgrades, I said he can go bollocks unless he puts seats in
which allow me to fit between the seat and the steering wheel!
So the gay seats have to go!

You'll have no issues with the seats from Sam's Trim.
Sam's Trim is just down the road from me, and Sam is lovely. She
knows exactly what she is doing, and makes excellent quality
products for a very fair price. She's just not as well known or
       exploitative as Exmoor.
       Cheers
       James

I sat one a set of Series Hibacks from Sams at Bling one year. A
little firm, but I was assured that because they were new, and
took a little softening, it would change. I wasn't buying, but
as I was working for a trader, I had the access to just go wag
chins and eat their biccies etc. I would buy some of them if I
REALLY had to (and had money to burn) As it is, I have a spare
set of slightly perforated Standard flat seats for a Series,
they will have to do if I ever need some.

I've always been put off Sam's Trim seats by the poncy colours
       they do them in.
I've had a few sets of Exmoor Trim seats in my Series trucks
though and always found them to last well and be fairly comfy.
I've got a set of the Lightweight seats now in the er ..
       Lightweight and they seem fine.
I ordered them at one of the shows from whichever distributor
was there - can't remember which one without looking it up,
       sorry.

I would keep an eye on Undercover Covers, if they branch out
into other Series seats other than S1 stuff they could be
awesome. I sat in an 80 with their seats the other day and it
was like a Rolls-Royce compared to my Exmoors, which I did think
       were quite good!
