       Lightweight Project
By: Lighty Date: November 8, 2012, 2:25 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I 've just finished building my lightweight from some parts I
bought off Flea-bay, I picked the bits up on a trailer on 1st
November last year. After 9 months I had it rebuilt and MOT'd
but it took me another 3 months to get the registration docs as
it came with no paperwork and to get it running properly. My
first proper run out with no problems was on 2nd november this
year, so missed out on the sub-year rebuild by a day. bugger.
Anyway, I'll get as many photos up to show how I went on, it
still needs painting and plenty of little jobs, but I guess
       these projects never get finished!
The 1st two are when I picked it up, the tub is only attached by
ratchet straps so it looks better than it really was...

       hey Stu,
yeah, definitely up for some laneing.
I've been going out with a group of friendly frontera drivers
for a couple of years over wales riding shotgun with a mate of
       mine.
dab hand at opening and closing gates now!
(obviously I decided to get proper vehicle when I got mine!)

Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes! I actually
didn't realise there were any Frontera's still around, let alone
ones that would be capable both on and off road :-?
Maybe, just maybe then when you get sorted you'll get out and
about and do some proper lanes with some proper motors! >rock<

yeah. sad to say I have a bit of a soft spot for my mates, it
done about half a million miles and still keeps going. It also
stinks and non of the electrics work.... I do have to wear a
disguise if i'm in it so as not to be recognised...
