I seem to think that the DVLA have on their web site the
opportunity to search via your Reg number to see of you're old
vehciles are still on the road or have been scrapped. This may
be a try.

Thanks Frau Gadget.

I've noticed.
When first listed, it was filthy but they've washed it and it
looks splendid again.
Unfortunately, my wife tells me we don't want it back.

Although it goes against my polite upbringing, I would tend to
agree :2mo5pow:
Apparently, they couldn't see past its first civil registration
date. It's manufacturing date meant nothing.
I notice that it's disappeared from fleaBay now. Anybody want to
own up to it? Or is it secretly being wrapped in colourful paper
and a big ribbon right now and put under a big tree with my name
on it?

I was watching with great interest... I was going to have a
cheeky bid as, with the dealer's rubbish description I thought
it might well go for less than the "classified ad" price. But
someone else clearly thought otherwise so sadly no, it isn't me!
