       Dual Line Brakes

       hello i have a 2a which has upgraded brakes. It has what looks
       like a dual line master cylinder and servo. The number from what
       i can best see stamped on the MC is girling 741880213 (this may
       not be bang on but it has a lot of paint on it) the problem is
       the brake pedal is very hard with hardly any travel and the
       brakes are really ineffective as in the are far worse than those
       of my other series 2a which has the original brake set up. Any
       ideas. (ps it has a brand new servo on it) .

       Sounds like a servo issue.
       Do you have vacum getting to the servo for starters?

       i found the issue! the little threaded plug was missing out of
       the servo body
