The Land Rover disease has spread far and wide and unfortunately
       I am severely infected.
I have five, two coilers and three "real" Land Rovers.
       Two 1973 109 S111s (dont ask why two) and 1968 S11a 88".
I have enjoyed your forum for a while and thought I should "do
the right thing" and join up.
Hope to be able to contribute to the conversation.
       Cheers
       Alan

       G'day!
One, two and a one, two, three...
Immanuel Kant was a real piss-ant who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you
       under the table. ..
David Hume could out-consume Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel.
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as
       Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach 'ya 'bout the raising
       of the wrist.
       Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will, after half a pint of
       shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away, half a crate of whiskey
       every day!
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
And Hobbes was fond of his Dram.
And René Descartes was a drunken fart:
       "I drink, therefore I am."
       Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.

Are you in the Philosophy Department of the University of
       Woolloomooloo?
Can we just call you Dave? (It will save a lot of confusion
and silly jokes about Australians..) Oh... I'm a miserable
       bastard.

       G'day All
Still working on the photos (I am digitally challenged).
On another topic all together the 109 (Kevin) has developed a
       new trick.
On the way home from a LROCV club meeting Thursday night high
beam stopped working ie no head lights at all on High beam.
Low beam was fine and everything else appears normal.
I have not had a chance to look at him yet but I am suspecting
the "High beam / indicator" switch.
       Any suggestions please
       Alan (aka Bruce)
