Today all four spring plates that hold the shocks were replaced
for galvanized ones as were the plates that fit between the axle
and the spring that the brake pipes go on, the leafs were all
tightened up and i fitted the bulkhead back on and a few of the
       supports. >rock<

When we did Lucys we used a down pipe off a 19j td wjth a few
cuts and rewelds. Or I think Kev got a ready made down pipe off
       ebay.

Try Steve Parkers. I think a full system is like £280 off them
so surely a downpipe should be less than, or around £70? Might
have gone up since then mind you...

Today i got the steering box fitted, all the wee plastic bits
that the dash screws into along with the ones for the
transmission tunnel, i also got the wiper motor fitted along
with the washer jets and the fly screens. Didnt do a lot more as
it was bloody freezing and my fingers stared to hurt.
