I've a shed load of pics to put up allow identication. As far as
I knwo you're safe using part numberr to indentify rims with the
exception of the 569203 rim, the rim most of you, well me
anyway, will be wanting.
I've been on this 3 hours. Jeeez. Enogh for now! More pix &
stuff later.

Rivetting stuff indeed.... I knew a good deal of this, having
had many years involvement, I didn't know ALL of it, you'll be
surprised to know, (and rather pleased I'm sure)...
I used to run LD rims on one of my 88s in the late 80s, it
made it quite wobbly due to unsprung weight differences (weak
shocks and kenked spring bushes really didn't help). I also
noticed you didn't quite cover the hub centre profiles.... the
standard rims have a more humped centre, whislt the 569204s have
a shallower look to them. Same basic shape though.....
Last year I missed out on a set of FC Fire Engine rims, (REAL
203s by the looks) they were poorly listed, I was browsing
through a mate's eBay account, he had seen them, they were on
his history, I went to bid (only 30 miles from me at the time)
and they had been pulled as I was in the bid screen..... Even
had XZYs on.... BIN at £120 for 5..... I sure missed that one!
Nobody bought them using that eBay advert... they were just
plain pulled.
Well cheers for the thread... It will take some digesting.
It's certainly a lot of information, going to be useful for
sure, and it's kind of you to share it...

Blimey Fuckwit, I knew you wouldn't disappoint..!!
But I have questions:
I was informed that ANR15034 came in both 'tube' and 'tubeless'
varieties; with ANR15034PM being the tubeless version. Is this
true?
Also, you haven't touched on milly split-rims - I have certainly
seen three types of this wheel; little, big (for 7.50s), and
also big with a noticeably deeper offset (deepset) than the
'normal' 5.5" split-rim wheel. Although it could be that this
was never made for a Landrover even though it fits. Can you
confirm..? (although Stuey might be in a better position to do
this as I seem to recall that Military split-rims are his bag).
Lastly; which wheels did TAC-R and TAC-T Land Rovers sport..?
Yours, in total awe of your anorakleness,
Wooden.

Not finished yet. More pics and a littel more detail to come.
'bucket' takes too long. The cat is out of the bag. Stuey won't
swap and now he never will. Sniff.
I'll do some more tomorrow

fitted- it's never had a puncture in the last few years; thank
f@ck cos its a bitch to get the spare off the bonnet rofl
Better post up some pictures of my early 2A Forward Control Rims

'kin 'ell.
What's "Buyers"? I wouldn't mind if you pulled me up on
"Buyers"? It would show us all who could see a grammatical typo.
Luke: Where should I have the apostrophe?
And BTW, there are still soem gaping holes in the psot, one of
which is proper pics for 543384, so please parksy? Also it
needs pics of the tyre well for ANR1534. The 543384 one I have
is pretty pointless, useless for identification. I 've had
little contact with ANR1534 (not my bag) and to even see a
543384, is going some. I've collated a lot, but not everything.
Also Stuey should come in and put his offset tabel in, but, put
a line in with deepset, so that we have liek for like (in mm)
datum point.
Also , an easy one, can thsoe of you with ANR1534 please confirm
my deepset measuremnt, I took my measurement when in the Vass
yard, two years ago, I am 95% it is correct, but my memory could
be off. Please verify it.
Doing pics now.
I will put a shed-load of pic more up soon, and if others can do
likewise with rims I don't have, we may well end up with a
definiteive archive. Have you all looked at the worthless shit
on other forums? We can beat that shit can't we?

anyone wants it. I'll put some pics up tomorrow and you or
someone else can id it.
