Superb write up. Where exactly did you get to?
As to "where next?" there's plenty more Morocco to see - where
you'll see more Series' in an hour than you might seen in a
month back home. ;-)

Just keep heading south. There's plenty more land before you run

Its that "Militar" that I'd like - Santanas take on the
Lightweight.
....The one time I tried taking a LR to Morocco we got exported
before we'd properly arrived, they took a dim view of my mates
Gibraltarian passport and would not let him in, so we went
laning in Spain instead.

2.5D, blocks from a 110 but the front end and probubly head are
Sherpa, whatever it is it pulls surprisingly well, though its
got tipical non turbo acceleration and its boderline dangerously
slow with a box trailer on the back, which is the main resion
I'm probubly going to replace it soon.

Yep, had been rotting in their yard since summer 2011 when it
failed its MOT, thought it looked like it needed a road trip.
The garage owner thought I was a right fruit loop saying I
wanted it for a solo Morocco trip in about 2 months time. Prior
to that it had been failing MOTs all over the peak, the owner
seemed to just take it for a test somewhere else rather than fix
any of the failures, scarry thing is this tequneque actully
worked once, cored brake flexi and all.

Taza, a couple of hours east of Fez, so not really that far into
Morocco, we were looking for Limestone rather than Desert though
and although the Land-Rover bit was pritty important to me, no
one else was really that bothered and were happy saving the week
this round trip took.

Sadly I only just spotted that as we were leaving so didn't get
a proper look (though to be fair it was a diesel six I was
hoping to see from the moment I went in), you could see the yard
owners starting to get itchy as to why we were just wondering
round with a fuel cap taking pictures rather than serous stuff -
If we hadn't been hoping to catch the ferry about midnight
(about 800km to do in about 12 hours whilst not exceeding
90km/h) I'd have taken a bit more time over it and tried to
extract some costs. Still, we made our deadline, though that
last ferry turned out to sale at 2230!)

Just ocosionally I feel I havn't spent enough of the day infront
of the computer trying to write something, I miss comming on
here but it takes me far too long to read anything, its a lot
worse if I click reply. HDD failure in my big computer was
another issue as it took me a few months to get it running and a
few more to half organise the pictures. My netbook is such a
gutless horibly underpowered postage stamp sized screen evil
shitty devil computer it just wasn't worth the effort trying to
log on with that.

No, not for this one. Still never taken my Station Wagon
overseas though, Ireland or the Alps is probubly its sort of
thing. Next long trip would have to be in a LWB though.
Going a bit further into Morocco could be fun but to be honest
its not somewhere I'm desperate to return to at the moment,
eastern Europe and new wannabe Europe is probubly further up the
list. St Petersburg Via Norway is also something I've been
wanting to do for a while now, a mate has a Russian wife so that
might make it easyer? 2014 maybe, probubly head to France next
year though funilly enough I've been thinking about trying to
import a Santana for the last couple of months so maybe there is
a plan there? If I went to Russia again I'd probubly want to
bring back a UAS 452 or a Ural or something stupid (Petrol Urals
are surprisingly cheep untill you realise they do about
90l/100km, I think the diesels are ment to be the right side of
50l but to put that into perspective a rover V8 would use 30l if
it was running [i]very[i/] badly!
